The investment objective of the Fund is to provide investors with a net total return, taking into account both capital and income returns, which reflects the return of the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Select Dividend Index. In order to achieve this investment objective, the investment policy of the Fund is to invest in a portfolio of equity securities that as far as possible and practicable consist of the component securities of the Dow Jones Emerging Markets Select Dividend Index, this Fund’s Benchmark Index.
