The investment objective of this Fund is to provide investors with a total return, taking into account both capital and income returns, which reflects the return of the MSCI Emerging Market Islamic Index. In order to achieve its investment objective, this Fund will invest, in a manner consistent with Shari’ah, in a portfolio of securities that so far as practicable and possible consists of the component securities of the MSCI Emerging Market Islamic Index, this Fund’s Benchmark Index.
